A STAR of a hit Netflix drama has confirmed that they won’t be back for the show’s third series.
The Night Agent has become a huge success for the streaming platform but one major character will be absent from the next series when it makes its return.

Luciane Buchanan played Rose Larkin in the show but fans won’t be seeing her anymore on-screen.
She played the romantic interest of the show’s leading character Peter Sutherland, played by Gabriel Basso.
Following the end of the second series, they called time on their romance due to his dangerous job driving a wedge between them.
But it now appears that wedge is permanent with Luciane confirming to Deadline that she won’t be a part of the cast for the third series.
The third series recently finished filming but she won’t be featured.
Confirming her exit, she said: “As much as that show has been so amazing, especially for my career — being a lead on a US show from little was such a whirlwind — the writers decided that they wanted to follow Peter and his journey based on what happened at the end of season 2.
“And so, we don’t get to see what happens to Rose, but I think it’s a really exciting time for the show, and who knows, it’s not a goodbye forever.”
She added: “I totally respected that decision and agreed.
“I was like, ‘If it makes sense to a story, I’ll do that. If it doesn’t, let’s not force that’.”
However, there are hopes she could eventually make a comeback to the show if it continues to prove a success.
Show creator Shawn Ryan previously admitted that he does not feel as though Rose’s story is done.
He said: “Luciane has been a beloved member of our Night Agent family for our first two seasons and her portrayal of Rose Larkin and Rose’s relationship with Peter has been a huge part of the show’s success.
“We always envisioned the show as telling a new story each season with a revolving cast, and the story we broke for season 3, much to our chagrin, didn’t have a satisfying place for Rose.”
The Night Agent streams on Netflix.
