BREAKING: Staff jump from storey building as fire guts UBA Lagos Island branch [VIDEO]

The United Bank for Africa, UBA, branch on Lagos Island is currently on fire.

Details surrounding the cause of the fire are still sketchy but in a video trending on social media, some of the bank’s staff were seen attempting to jump down from the storey building.

The workers were captured in the video trying to escape through the windows.

As at the time of this report, emergency responders are yet to make official statements on the incident.

But DAILY POST observed that efforts to contain the situation are ongoing.
