STACEY Solomon’s sister Jemma has made a significant “scary” life decision by announcing her plan to close her business after six years.

The 37-year-old has confessed that she and her partner will “no longer have a job” and acknowledged that her husband Lee is “very nervous” about this change.

However, she believes that saying “goodbye” to her home organization business will be “wholesomely positive in the long run.”

Posting on social media, Jemma, the founder of her company, shared a glimpse of the “giant mess” at her business headquarters as she openly discussed her “selfish decision” to shut down her company.

She stated: “Hi everyone, welcome to the HQ. I have something to share with you all, something I’ve been holding onto for a little while now and have been a bit nervous to announce, but I know I am making the right choice, the best choice, and one that will be wholesomely positive in the long run.

“It is time to say goodbye to The Label Lady, and I say it with a smile, not with sadness, because for the past six years, this [office] has been our home, as well as our house.

“It’s a giant mess at the moment because we are in the process of packing, but this has been a place where Lee, our family, staff, and I have enjoyed working and built a wonderful community, not just among ourselves but also with you all.

“I know there will be many questions, but I want to address this in the most wholesomely positive way.”

The entrepreneur from the UK explained that she and her husband Lee have had “the most amazing run” with their business over the past six years.

She continued: “We employed people during one of the hardest times, and my current staff have been absolutely incredible. They have been with me on this journey, they know what this journey entails, and they are well taken care of until 2026, so they will stay with me until our final day.

“I also had the incredible opportunity to gain an investment from Lord Sugar, which provided me with a supportive team that taught me how to manage payroll, employ staff, and handle spreadsheets that once intimidated me.”

The mother of three then acknowledged: “I am so thankful for that journey, as I have had a supportive presence alongside me for as long as I can remember.

“I’m sure I’ve mentioned before, I made cakes and did event decorating; we tackled those projects on weekends. We never just had one job; we always had numerous side projects.

“This business just happened to take off more quickly than we ever imagined, and it has taken our family on quite a journey.

“Our family, especially our children, have witnessed this growth from the ground up, spending many days and nights in the HQ – we even had sleepovers here.”

Maybe it is a selfish decision on my part, but I would like to give it a try, and I’ve always believed that if you don’t try, you will never know.

Reflecting on her journey with her crafting business, she explained: “I’ve learned so much; it has been an incredible journey. The most important thing is that none of it would have been possible without your support, and I am forever grateful for that.

“While change is coming and could be viewed sadly, I don’t want to see this as a sad occasion.

“I’m so proud of everything we’ve accomplished, and I understand that change can be daunting; I truly embrace it.”

As she turned to Lee, Jemma added: “Lee is quite nervous. It’s scary to say we will no longer have a job; it’s a strange feeling, isn’t it?

“But it’s a positive change, not a negative one, and I just want to express my gratitude to all of you for every bit of support you’ve given us. Without you, we wouldn’t have what we have today, and while this chapter must close, every ending brings a new beginning.”
