Kim Seul Gi and HIGHLIGHT’s Yoon Doojoon will reunite in a drama after 10 years!
On June 9, XportsNews reported that Kim Seul Gi and Yoon Doojoon will star in “The Catstody War”; (literal title), a one-act drama that’s part of tvN’s upcomingO’PENing 2025series.
In response to the report, CJ ENM confirmed, “Kim Seul Gi and Yoon Doojoon will appear in the tvN one-act drama ‘The Catstody War,’ which is part of O’PENing 2025. It is scheduled to air in the second half of the year.”;
“O’PENing”; is a drama project composed of works by rookie writers discovered through CJ ENM’s new creator support initiative, O’PEN.
A winning entry from last year’s competition,“The Catstody War”;tells the story of a couple on the verge of divorce who become embroiled in a fierce custody battle-not over a child, but over their beloved cat, whom they’ve raised like family.
Kim Seul Gi and Yoon Doojoon will portray a married couple of five years. After struggling with infertility, they adopted a stray cat and formed a tight-knit family-only to eventually reach the decision to part ways.
The drama marks Kim Seul Gi and Yoon Doojoon’s reunion in 10 years, following their 2015 collaboration in the MBC one-act drama “ Splash Splash Love .”;
