DANNY ROHL is clear favourite to be appointed Southampton's next manager.
That's according to talkSPORT BET, who've installed the German coach at odds-on 1/2 to replace Ivan Juric at St Mary's.
Southampton are now in the market for their third boss of an extremely disappointing 2024-25 campaign.
Juric, 49, was appointed as Russell Martin's successor on an 18-month deal in December.
But having won just two of his 16 matches in charge and with Southampton's relegation now confirmed – the Croatian has departed after just 107 days.
Sunday's 3-1 defeat at Tottenham consigned rock-bottom Southampton to the earliest relegation in Premier League history with eight games still to play.
His spell in charge is the ninth-shortest reign as a manager in Premier League history, while the club still require two further points to avoid beating Derby County's record-low tally of 11, achieved in 2007-08.

Rohl shares close ties with Johannes Spors – Southampton's new technical director leading the search for a replacement – having worked together at RB Leipzig.
