“Second Shot at Love”; is a rom-com that follows Han Geum Ju (Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung), a self-proclaimed “reasonable drinker”; who unexpectedly reunites with her first love Seo Ui Jun (Gong Myoung)—a man who despises alcohol—and decides to take on the challenge of quitting drinking.

Previously in “Second Shot at Love,”; Geum Ju and Ui Jun became a couple after a long period of miscommunication. As if the emotions they bottled up for so long had finally burst, their affection for each other grew rapidly. As their relationship progresses, their romantic tension continues to captivate viewers with each episode.
In contrast, Han Geum Ju’s older sister Han Hyun Joo (Jo Yoon Hee) and Geum Ju’s friend Bong Sun Wook (Kang Hyung Suk) have yet to define their relationship. Bong Sun Wook consistently expressed his feelings to Han Hyun Joo, and recently, she agreed to give him three chances to go on dates.
