On the next episode of “Heavenly Ever After,”; Son Suk Ku will follow Kim Hye Ja to the depths of hell!
JTBC’s “Heavenly Ever After”; is a transcendent new romance drama starring Kim Hye Ja as Lee Hae Sook, a woman who reunites with her husband in heaven after death. Unlike the other residents of heaven—including her husband Go Nak Joon (Son Suk Ku), who has chosen to return to the 30-something version of himself—Lee Hae Sook makes the unusual choice to keep her 80-year-old appearance.

Previously on “Heavenly Ever After,”; Lee Hae Sook and Go Nak Joon had different theories on the identity of the mysterious Som Yi (Han Ji Min). Hae Sook was convinced that Som Yi was Lee Young Ae (Lee Jung Eun), but Nak Joon suspected that she was a runaway from hell. However, the runaway in question turned out to be someone else, and the latest episode of the drama ended with a glimpse of the real Young Ae in hell.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, both Hae Sook and Nak Joon arrive in hell—though not together. After receiving the final grape, Hae Sook is forced to leave heaven and head to hell on her own.
When Hae Sook arrives at the gates of hell, she meets the team leader responsible for managing the entirety of hell (played by Park Soo Young). Just like the security check that everyone had to pass through when they arrived at the gates of heaven, Hae Sook finds herself facing a checkpoint where the sins and punishments of everyone who arrives in hell are calculated. But unlike the warm and friendly staff who greeted newcomers in heaven, the team leader wears a cold and gruff expression as Hae Sook gazes at him in fear.
Meanwhile, Nak Joon voluntarily chooses to leave heaven for hell in order to find Hae Sook. As he gazes off into the fiery distance with a hollow expression, he looks like a man who has lost everything—but deep in his eyes remains a burning determination to rescue his wife.
According to the “Heavenly Ever After”; production team, the fifth episode of the drama will depict the journey of three characters who arrive separately in hell: Hae Sook, Nak Joon, and Young Ae. “The unknown world of hell, which was shrouded in mystery, will finally be unveiled, revealing horrors beyond imagination. Please look forward to the story that unfolds in hell, where countless people’s sins and punishments are judged without mercy.”;
