Netflix’s upcoming drama “Mercy For None”; has dropped new stills featuring its cast!
Based on a popular webtoon, “Mercy For None”; is a noir action drama that follows the story of Ki Jun (So Ji Sub), a former gangster who cut his own Achilles heel and left the underworld behind. 11 years after severing ties with his gang, he returns to uncover the truth behind the mysterious death of his younger brother Ki Seok (Lee Jun Hyuk).
The newly released still show Nam Ki Jun facing the truth about an event 11 years ago that changed the fate of two powerful groups in the underworldâBong San and Joo Woon. After the incident, Nam Ki Jun vowed never to return and disappeared after cutting his Achilles tendon.
In another photo, Nam Ki Jun looks at the body of his younger brother, Nam Ki Seok, who helped grow the Joo Woon organization and rose to second in command before dying under mysterious circumstances. Driven by the need for answers, Nam Ki Jun returns to the underworld to seek the truth and begins a quest for revenge.
The stills also highlight the Joo Woon and Bong San families. One image captures Lee Joo Woon (Heo Joon Ho), leader of the Joo Woon group, and Koo Bong San (Ahn Kil Kang), head of the Bong San group, facing off. Their rivalry foreshadows the conflicts that will unfold with Nam Ki Jun’s return after 11 years.
Stills of Koo Jun Mo (Gong Myoung), son of Koo Bong San and heir to the group, reveals his reckless nature, driven solely by his own desires.
Meanwhile, Lee Geum Son (Choo Young Woo), son of Lee Joo Woon and a current prosecutor, wears a troubled expression that hints at his dark ambition to change the power dynamics in the underworld and trigger unpredictable events.
The stills also showcase the characters, each focused on their own goals and determined to see them through. This adds to the intrigue around their stories and the intense action Nam Ki Jun will face among them.
“Mercy For None”; will premiere on June 6.
