KYREN WILSON’S Donegal Rose struck late to land the delayed second race on Ladies Day at Chester.
The 9/4 favourite was held up towards the rear before flying home in the final strides as Caturra Lights faded after forcing the pace.

Oisin Murphy rode home the winner to complete a second one-two on the card for trainer in British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Stakes on Thursday afternoon.
And there was a familiar face waiting in the winner’s enclosure, with snooker star celebrating the two-year-old filly’s victory.
To ITV Racing, the world No8 said: “Brilliant. Obviously with what was going on before built the tension up we were not sure if the race was going to go ahead.
“Amazing. Really really good experience.
“We were told she would have a really good chance today.
“It looked as if she might have left it a little bit late but what a performance by Oisin.
“Just come round the outside, really kicked on and just an amazing performance, we’re chuffed.”
Wilson, 34, thanked Palmer’s Manor House Stables team for their hard work.

And the base may just be a lucky charm after being transformed from a cattle barn by football legend and stable owner in 2007.
It came after in a tense Crucible final on Monday night.
When asked what brings the sweats more potting a black or watching your horse win at Chester, the snooker ace said: “Honestly, I think the horse.
“There’s nothing I can do about it. At least I have got control if the black goes in the pocket.”
Chester was delayed by one hour after the ground was judged to be unsafe after on the track.
