Former “Single’s Inferno”;; contestant Choi Si Hun has announced his plans to take legal action against malicious posts and rumors.
On May 10, Choi Si Hun—who recently got to singer Ailee—posted the following statement from law firm The Alpha on his Instagram account:
Law firm The Alpha is currently taking legal action on Choi Si Hun’s behalf corresponding to the illegal acts committed against our client.
At present, falsehoods that are entirely different from the truth, malicious slander, and insulting posts about our client are currently being spread widely on portal sites like DC Inside, Daum Cafe, Naver, and FM Korea; online communities; and social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter) to a severe extent.
As a result, our law firm is using constant monitoring to collect evidence and work together with the relevant authorities to identify the creator [of these malicious rumors]. In order to protect our client, we will continue to swiftly take all possible legal action, including filing civil lawsuits and pressing criminal charges, against acts like the spreading of falsehoods about our client, defamation of his character, and insults.
