Nevertheless, this has led to backlash from others, including one individual who went so far as to report her to social services.
“I had a meeting with my social worker today, and she actually told me that someone called the manager and claimed that a TikTok user named Sadie was showcasing her messy lifestyle with a child,” she explained in another TikTok video.
“How cruel do you have to be to report a teen mum, a single mother who’s struggling?”
Fortunately, since her social worker knows her personally, she dismissed the complaint and “didn’t take any further action.”
“Thank goodness she didn’t,” she added.
“I would be lost without my son. He is my motivation – such a loving, caring boy, and it’s heartbreaking to see what people can do.”
She also mentioned that she knew it was a fellow TikToker who reported her because they referred to her as Sadie, which is her TikTok handle, not her real name.
“On a positive note, I want to thank all my supporters for helping me get to where I am today,” she concluded.
“I wouldn’t be anything without you all.
“I’m eternally grateful to you.”
“And to my critics, boohoo, cry about it.
“I refuse to let a hater affect my mental health.”
“I’ve been reported to social services by another TikToker,” she captioned the video.
The comments section quickly filled with opinions on the matter, with one user writing: “Reported for what?
“For having a home filled with things for your children?
“This is typical mess; it’s not dirty, and your home looks lovely.”
