Shooting Stars head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote believes his team remains on the right track despite Sunday’s stalemate against Heartland.
The Oluyole Warriors failed to convert their chances in the encounter.
Ogunbote said the team will make up for the points lost in their subsequent matches.
“I think matchday 38 is still far we just played 11. We still have 27 games to determine the champion,” he stated during the post-match interview.
“Our dream is to finish strong as we still have more games to come.
“We hope to have a free level playing field in our next games as we have been seeing it here in Ibadan.
“We will definitely make up for the points dropped here in Ibadan.”
Shooting Stars dropped to fifth position following the draw.
The Ibadan club have recorded 18 points from 11 matches.
Shooting Stars will face Sunshine Stars next in a Southwest derby in Akure on Wednesday.
