JTBC’s upcoming drama “A Hundred Memories” has unveiled a new glimpse of Shin Ye Eun ’s character!
Set in the 1980s, “A Hundred Memories” is a nostalgic coming-of-age romance drama about the friendship between two young bus attendants, Go Young Rye ( Kim Da Mi ) and Seo Jong Hee (Shin Ye Eun), and their shared first love Han Jae Pil ( Heo Nam Jun ).
Newly released stills from the upcoming drama capture Seo Jong Hee’s grand arrival as a new bus attendant at Cheong Ah Transport. A beautiful and witty teenager with a vivacious personality, Seo Jong Hee is confident, bold, and courageous. Because she isn’t afraid of anyone, she stands firm and doesn’t back down in any situation. However, her femme-fatale charms are divisive: although many are enchanted by her, others instantly sense that she isn’t someone easy to handle.
In the drama, Seo Jong Hee is constantly chewing bubble gum: a symbol of her unwavering defiance even in the most dangerous of moments.
Even when she has freshly joined Cheong Ah Transport as a new employee, Seo Jong Hee makes an unforgettable first impression on her colleagues by challengingly blowing a bubble in the face of the most powerful figure in the dormitory.
Later, Seo Jong Hee exudes a professional aura in her bus attendant uniform as she works together with Go Young Rye, who soon becomes her close friend.
“Jong Hee, who is played by Shin Ye Eun, is a three-dimensional character with a wide variety of charms breathing inside her bold and defiant exterior,” said the “A Hundred Memories” production team. “Shin Ye Eun flawlessly blended her signature bubbliness and unique charisma with Jong Hee’s beautiful appearance, confident attitude, and emblematic bubblegum to perfect the character. Please look forward to the birth of a beloved ‘80s youth icon that will transcend eras.”
“A Hundred Memories” will premiere on September 13 at 10:40 p.m. KST. Check out a teaser for the drama here !
