Former Kaduna Central senator, Shehu Sani, has mourned a teacher, identified as Mallam Mohammed Abubakar Tayi, who was reportedly killed in Mokwa, Niger State
Tayi was said to have been stabbed to death on Saturday morning.
Sani announced the killing in a post on his verified Facebook page.
He wrote: “Tragic Loss in Mokwa Niger State – Respected Teacher Stabbed to Death.
“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un.
“The community of Mokwa has been thrown into mourning following the tragic death of a beloved teacher, Mallam Mohammed Abubakar Tayi.
“He was reportedly stabbed to death this morning along Abattoir Road in Mokwa.
“Mallam Tayi was widely known for his humility, kindness, and jovial nature, coupled with a strong sense of discipline that earned him respect among colleagues, students, and residents alike.
“His sudden and violent passing has left many in shock and sorrow.
“May the Almighty forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.”;
