Seohyun kicks off her journey in the novel world with a scandalous twist in KBS2’s drama “The First Night With the Duke”;!
“The First Night with the Duke”; is a fantasy romance drama about an ordinary college student whose soul is transported into a minor character in a romance novel, Cha Sun Chaek (Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun). After waking up in the world of the novel, she ends up spending the night with the obsessive male lead, Yi Beon (2PM’sTaecyeon).
Originally, Cha Sun Chaek was meant to play a minor role in the heartfelt love story between Yi Beon and the novel’s heroine Jo Eun Ae (Kwon Han Sol). But everything changes when a real-world college student named K inhabits her body. After a single mistake, she strays from the story’s original plot and sets everything off course.
The mistake? Accidentally sharing the male lead’s first night with him. How does a character with barely any presence wind up at the center of such an intimate and game-changing event?
The newly released stills give a glimpse into the shocking aftermath.Bathed in the morning sunlight, Cha Sun Chaek and Yi Beon are seen waking up in the same bed. Though wrapped under the same blanket and facing one another, Cha Sun Chaek appears flustered and defensive, clutching the blanket to cover herself—while Yi Beon gazes at her with unblinking intensity.
While she’s clearly shaken, Yi Beon remains confident and composed. Most notably, following this incident, it’s no longer the female lead who wins the love of the cold-hearted tyrant Yi Beon... but the formerly minor character, Cha Sun Chaek.
