Kelechi Iheanacho can’t hide his excitement after helping Celtic secure a place in the final of the Scottish Cup, DAILY POST reports.

The Nigeria international rose from the bench to score twice in extra-time as Celtic thrashed St Mirren 6-2.

Iheanacho has now scored six times across all competitions for the Hoops this season.

Celtic led twice but St Mirren rallied to take the game into extra-time.

Iheanacho, however, made the difference for the Celts in the emphatic victory.

“I can’t really describe how I feel at the moment. I’m really happy. Obviously, there was a little bit of panic in the second half when they got the goals,” the 29-year-old told Celtic TV.

Celtic will face Dunfermline Athletic in the final on Saturday, 23 May.
