Nigeria forward Cyriel Dessers has won Rangers' top scorer award for the 2004/25 season, DAILY POST reports.

Dessers picked up the prize at the Rangers Player Awards Ceremony on Sunday night.

The 30-year-old has scored 24 goals across all competitions for the Light Blues this season.

The forward's latest strike came in Rangers' 2-2 draw with St Mirren last Saturday.

Rangers captain James Tavernier won the top scorer award last year.

DAILY POST recalls, Dessers was nominated for Goal of the Season award in the 2023/24 campaign but lost out to Rabbi Matondo.

Matondo took home the prize for his strike in the Old Firm derby against Celtic.
