Celtic head coach, Martin O’Neill has singled out Kelechi Iheanacho for praises after his side’s hard-earned 2-1 win over Dundee FC.
Iheanacho rose from the bench to score the winning goal for the Hoops.
The Hoops maintained second position on the Scottish Premiership table, three points behind leaders Hearts following the win.
Iheanacho, who joined Celtic on a free transfer last September, had endured an injury-hit campaign.
The goal against Dundee was the Nigeria international’s fourth of the campaign.
O’Neil described the striker as a fine player who can find the net.
“I know he’s had a frustrating time, but he’s been a really fine player in his career and he can find the net,” the gaffer told the club’s official website.
