CRYSTAL PALACE snatched all three points as Jean-Philippe Mateta bagged a brace with a last-gasp penalty to seal late drama at Selhurst Park.
The Eagles struck in the dying seconds after Mateta had already cancelled out William Osula’s scrappy opener.

The Dane bundled Newcastle ahead just before the break, but Palace hit back after the restart.
Jefferson Lerma rattled the bar with a point-blank header before Mateta nodded in Tyrick Mitchell’s cross on 80 minutes. And with normal time up, the Frenchman kept his cool from the spot to complete the turnaround.
Newcastle, reeling from a derby loss to Sunderland and a Champions League exit to Barcelona, faded late. Palace climb to 13th, with Newcastle 14th.
