Mia explained: ”I won’t be buying anything for myself out of enjoyment just because it’s Black Friday.

”There are sales all year round which is why Black Friday makes no sense to me.”

How to save money on Christmas shopping

Consumer reporter reveals how you can save money on your Christmas shopping.

Limit the amount of presents – buying presents for all your family and friends can cost a bomb.

Instead, why not organise a Secret Santa between your inner circles so you’re not having to buy multiple presents.

Plan ahead – if you’ve got the stamina and budget, it’s worth buying your Christmas presents for the following year in the January sales.

Make sure you shop around for the best deals by using price comparison sites so you’re not forking out more than you should though.

Buy in Boxing Day sales – some retailers start their main Christmas sales early so you can actually snap up a bargain before December 25.

Delivery may cost you a bit more, but it can be worth it if the savings are decent.

Shop via outlet stores – you can save loads of money shopping via outlet stores like Amazon Warehouse or Office Offcuts.

They work by selling returned or slightly damaged products at a discounted rate, but usually any wear and tear is minor.

Last but certainly not least, the TikToker will be saving heaps of cash by not buying trending festive snacks, including mince pies.

”I personally don’t enjoy them that much.

”I don’t think I need any of these things to enjoy the festive period – I’m just happy to be with my family and have nice experiences.”

Posted less than 24 hours ago, the clip has taken the internet by storm, racking up more than 92k views – and it’s been a mixed bag of reactions.

One person thought: ”No Christmas tree is depressing.”

”I’ve always agreed with your takes on finance, but no Christmas tree…” another agreed.

”I recommend buying second hand Christmas decorations for sustainability,” someone else chimed in.

”I don’t really care about Christmas trees and I think its a little wasteful tbh, specifically when you buy a tree and just toss it after Christmas,” a fourth shared their take.
