Asisat Oshoala hopes Al-Hilal can sustain the momentum following their impressive start to the new season.

Al-Hilal began the 2025/26 Saudi Arabia Premier League campaign with a hard-fought 4-3 victory over Al-Qadsiah on Friday night.

Oshoala, who made her maiden competitive appearance for Al-Hilal in the game, scored the home side’s third goal of the encounter from the penalty spot.

The Nigeria international featured for the full 90 minutes in the thrilling contest.

“It’s just the beginning, first game of the season, and we hope to continue like this as a team,” she said after the game.

Oshoala joined Al-Hilal last month from Bay FC in the Nigeria Women’s Soccer League, NWSL.
