Saraki, Kwankwaso pay condolences to Buhari’s family, pray at grave side

2023 New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP presidential candidate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and former Senate President, Bukola Saraki visited the gravesite of late former president Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State on Saturday.

Both men paid their separate condolences to the family of the former Head of State in Daura and offered prayers by the gravesite

Pictures shared on social media showed the political leaders offering their last prayers for the former Nigerian leader.

Buhari was the President of Nigeria from 2015 to 2023. He handed power over to the current administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu after completing his eight years tenure.

Buhari died almost a week ago in a special clinic in London, the United Kingdom after spending 10 days to two weeks on the hospital bed for an undisclosed illness.

His remains were brought back to Nigeria on Tuesday and buried in Daura before his loved ones, political leaders, associates and family members.

Both Saraki and Kwankwaso paid their respects at the gravesite of the late Buhari and extended their condolences to the family of the former President.
