The tech giant has unveiled three new models, including a base level Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra.
A number of improvements have been made, including a thinner body, lighter weight and more powerful than before.
But there are some eye-catching features that are sure to get people’s attention.
Firstly, the Audio Eraser tool has been expanded and it could be pretty handy for anyone watching videos – though it’s not exclusive to .
Until now, Audio Eraser has existed as a way to remove annoying background noises from any videos you’ve recorded on your phone.
But with the S26 series you can now do the same audio adjustments on third party apps like , and too.
So, if you’re watching Premier League highlights and can’t quite make out what the commentator is saying, you can turn the background noise down and enhance the voice sound.
Another big addition that’s already got people talking is a genius privacy display.
Users need not worry about nosy strangers having a glance at their screen anymore.
Samsung has worked on a clever trick that blacks the display out when looking at it from the side.

This means you don’t need any privacy stickers anymore.
What’s more, the feature can be adapted to only work on certain apps – for example a banking app – and you can even make it kick in on notifications.
“There’s no compromise in resolution whatsoever with the privacy display on,” Kadesh Beckford, Samsung’s smartphone specialist product manager told The Sun.
“It’s not just your applications, it’s things like Samsung Wallet, you’ll be able to use it on Google Wallet and lots of other features as well, so no one will be able to see what’s important to you.”
Samsung is also pushing ahead with more AI to boost mobile features.
It’ll automatically put your screenshots into handy categories for example, so shopping receipts, boarding passes and coupons will be organised into separate folders.
And a new Now Nudge will provide real-time suggestions when you need it – for example, if someone asks whether are you free tomorrow for dinner a bubble will come up with a button showing your calendar and anything you’ve got planned.
“Samsung is repositioning Galaxy AI as an orchestrator, not a single-assistant bet,” Paolo Pescatore, an analyst for PP Foresight told The Sun.
“Gemini stays core, but Perplexity, plus a refreshed Bixby, signals the best tool for the job — with the upside of fewer app hops and smarter handoffs, and the downside of fragmentation, messy defaults, multiple wake words, and tougher privacy questions.
“The bigger issue is that AI still isn’t a must-have for many users — a problem given that Samsung is leaning on Galaxy AI as its primary differentiator.”
The Galaxy S26 starts from £879, the S26+ from £1009 and S26 Ultra from £1279.
They’re all available from March 11.
