SAMIE Elishi seems to have passed the mates’ test as her romance with Sam Thompson heats up.
Love Island’s and 2023 King of the JungleSam, 32,got cosy at over the weekend and
Sam brought his new love interest to the party at Bacchanalia in London’s Mayfairand it was the first time for her meeting his best friend, Towie’s .
Pete is now said to have given the couple his seal of approval saying they “really suit”; each other.
“Things between Sam and Samie are really hotting up. Sam has introduced Samie to many of his friends now including some of theMade In Chelseacast,”; an unnamed source told Daily Mail.
“The biggest test came on Saturday night at Olivia’s birthday party when Samie met Sam’s best friend Pete for the first time.”;
The source added: “But Pete absolutely loves Samie for Sam and thinks they really suit, which has only brought them closer together.”;
“Although she would hate to admit it, Samie is smitten and they really like each other.”;
Sam’s new relationship comes after he struggled to move on from his “rough”; split from Zara McDermott.
Their ended in December and he admitted he let himself go in the aftermath of the breakup.
Speaking for the first time about officially moving on from Zara, Sam said on his podcast Staying Relevant: “I went on the first date that I’ve had since I’ve been single recently and I was so nervous that I messaged Pete and it was the sweetest thing ever, but Pete basically sent me a list of what I had to do.”;
“I was absolutely terrified,”; he admitted.
Pete then quizzed Sam on his ‘glow up’ plans – having spruced himself up since becoming single.
Sam said: “Oh, God, I think I’ve done everything I can do.
“It was a pretty tough time back then. I was thinking ‘God, you really let yourself go.’
“Now I’ve got myself to a place where I’m like, I feel like I’m happy and I’m comfortable in my own skin again, if you know what I mean.”;
