Customers who possess the Sainsbury's Slow Cooked Lamb Shoulder with Redcurrant Honey & Rosemary Glaze are requested to return the item to stores.

The lamb shoulder weighs 400g and has a use-by date of January 21, 2026.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) stated: “Sainsbury’s is recalling the above product from customers and has reached out to relevant allergy support organizations, which will inform their members about the recall.

“The company has also distributed a point-of-sale notice to customers, explaining the reason for the recall and instructions on how to return purchased items.

In the UK, food packaging is required to be labeled with all allergens contained within the product.

The FSA advised concerned customers: “If you have purchased the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, please do not consume it.

“Instead, return it to the store where it was bought for a full refund.”
