Tu Clothing is the supermarket’s in-house clothing label and regularly delights customers with its stylish buys at bargain prices.
The fashion team has caused a stir with their Mid Blue Denim Short Sleeve Midaxi Dress that will take shoppers all the way into summer.
The denim frock features short sleeves and button fastening all the way down the front.
But it’s the stitching detail that fashion fans insist has a “slimming effect”.
Describing the dress on the website, the Sainsbury’s team say: “Our vintage-style denim dress features short sleeves, a classic collar, and button fastening.
“Finished in a midaxi length, it’s a standout piece with modern edge.”
Coming in sizes six to 24, it’s priced at £30 and is already racking up five-star reviews.
One delighted shopper gushed: “Incredibly soft and flowing, am really happy.”
A second wrote: “I really like this dress. It hugs in all the right places and the stitching on the front gives a slimming effect.
“I bought it in a size 10, and despite being big busted it only pulls at the buttons very slightly. I am looking forward to wearing it when the weather warms up.”
