RONNIE O’SULLIVAN has intensified his preparations for the Masters by competing against two professionals at an Irish pub.
The Rocket, 50, is set to kick off the tournament with an exciting match against Neil Robertson at Alexandra Palace on January 14.

Former British Open champion Fergal O’Brien arranged for O’Sullivan to practice his shots against two players he is coaching.
Jordan Brown and Aaron Hill had a unique opportunity to compete against the seven-time World Championship winner at Celbridge Snooker Club.
O’Brien, 53, shared with Metro : “He has been staying here for a bit. He has a friend in the area and reached out looking for games.
“The club in Celbridge features two Star tables. He needed practice and wanted to play against strong opponents.
“I coach Jordan and Aaron, so I suggested they would be thrilled to play with him. They came down and had a few matches.
“It was fantastic for the club to have him play, and it was an incredible opportunity for the two lads to practice with him. You can't get better than that.
“They have been training well over Christmas and New Year. Playing with Ronnie is an added bonus.
“I was present when he played against Jordan and Aaron. He genuinely seems to enjoy being at the club and playing there.
“It’s a traditional club, and it has been lively over the New Year, creating a great atmosphere.”
O’Sullivan enters the Masters holding a record of eight titles but is still seeking his first tournament victory of the season.
The world No. 8 last won in March 2024.
O’Sullivan is eager to recover from an early exit in the UK Championship last month and has been diligently preparing to face former world No. 1 Robertson next week.
