Former Chelsea defender, Glen Johnson, has told former Manchester United forward to ‘improve’ if he wants to be back in the same level as Argentina’s Lionel Messi, France’s Kylian Mbappe and Brazil’s Neymar.
Johnson also urged Chelsea to sign Ronaldo on a six months deal when the winter transfer window starts in January.
Ronaldo is currently a free agent after his contract with Manchester United was terminated by mutual consent last month.
“I would take Cristiano Ronaldo at Chelsea for six months, absolutely.” Johnson told Midnite.
“Ronaldo has been the second or third-best player we have seen in our generation.
“If Ronaldo wants to be back in the same rank as Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi or Neymar, he needs to improve.”
