Barcelona forward Raphinha has named Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neyma and Arjen Robben as players who clearly inspired his career while growing up as a young footballer.
The Brazilian also revealed that his fellow countryman Ronaldinho was his ultimate role model in the game of football.
Raphinha said (via Barca Universal): “When I started watching football, I liked Neymar, Robben, Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi.
“I saw different things in each player. I was inspired by them.”;;
He added, “As a child, there was only one player that I wanted to be like: Ronaldinho.
“I would go to school and imitate himâput on the headband, his shirt. He was my role model.”;;
Raphinha has been impressive for Barcelona so far this season.
He has scored 34 goals and provided 25 assists for the Blaugrana.
