A ROBOT has allegedly sexually assaulted a young girl on livestream while being controlled by a group of teenage boys.

The droid is said to have crept up on and grabbed the 16-year-old by the buttocks before making “thrusting motions” , it is alleged.

have seized the robot following the alleged assault outside a fast-food restaurant in Germany.

The 1.2m tall red and gold device is suspected to have approached the girl while she was standing with a group of pals.

Cops rushed to the scene after being alerted and found the robot hidden in the back of a car.

A criminal has now been launched to understand the full circumstances of the ordeal.

Footage circulating on shows a red and gold humanoid bot next to two men before the droid touches a girl.

The teenager appears to scream and move away after the automaton presses up against her, according to the video.

Two mobile phones as well as the robot have been seized by German cops as part of the probe.

Authorities called the ordeal an “assault” and said they were weighing up sexual harassment charges.

Cologne cops said: “A red and gold robot triggered a police operation on Cologne’s Ringstrasse in the early hours of Sunday.

“The device allegedly touched a 16-year-old girl’s buttocks and made thrusting motions against her.”

They added: “The robot’s 16-year-old owner and his 19-year-old companion are said to have filmed the alleged assault, streamed it live on social media, and acted as commentator.

“According to current findings, the teenager was with her 17- and 18-year-old friends in front of a fast-food restaurant at the corner of Palmstrasse and Hohenzollernring between 11.45pm and midnight.

“The robot, approximately 1.20 meters tall, is said to have approached the 16-year-old from behind and performed the actions.”

Emergency services found the suspects at the corner of Magnusstrasse and Hohenzollernring, cops added.

The robot was discovered in the trunk of a VW.

The 16-year-old from Wegberg had previously placed the device there, police alleged.

Authorities continued: “The criminal investigation department is now examining how the robot was functioning at the time of the incident and whether someone was deliberately controlling its movements.”
