Governor Uba Sani has provided relief to the 50-year aspiration of Danbushiya village in the Millennium City within Chikun local government by initiating the construction of a 15-kilometer road upon taking office.

Sarkin Danbushiya, Alhaji Muktar Haruna, announced this on Wednesday during the Governor's inspection tour of the Keke-Danbushiya road project, which will connect over 15 communities.

The Village Head stated that the community has been promised the construction of this road since the military era, emphasizing that the dream was finally realized with the arrival of Governor Uba Sani.

Alhaji Muktar expressed gratitude to the Governor for delivering the benefits of democracy to the region, which include a Primary Healthcare Centre, schools, and improved security.

He further mentioned that classes have commenced at the Science Secondary School built by Governor Uba Sani, with students currently receiving education there.

According to him, the Governor has shown immense care for the residents, to the extent that "We want to change the name from 'Millennium City' to 'Governor Uba Sani Millennium City.'

During the event, Governor Uba Sani reflected on his tenure, stating, "When I took office, we made it clear to everyone that we would strive to extend development to every part of Kaduna State."

The Governor noted that he engaged with the people of Danbushiya, "sat down with them, discussed their needs, and recognized that this road is crucial as it links about 15 communities."

"As a Government, we deemed it extremely important and necessary to invest significantly to ensure the construction of an asphalt road that will connect these communities," he added.

The Governor, who assured that the road would be inaugurated within nine months, commended the community for their unwavering support for the contractor.

Governor Uba Sani also inspected the ongoing renovation of Ahmadu Bello Stadium, which is set to transform into a safer and more modern sports arena that meets international standards upon completion.

Additionally, he reviewed the ongoing renovation of a Primary Healthcare Centre in the Mando community within Igabi local government area.
