THIS is the moment Robert F Kennedy Jr picked up two snakes with his bare hands as his wife watched on in shock.

The US Health and Human Services Secretary carefully grabbed the pair of Black Racer serpents on ‘s patio.

RFK Jr’s wife Cheryl Hines captured the moment in a video that was later posted to social media platform X with the caption: “Cheryl cheerleads the removal of a pair of Black Racers from Dr Oz’s patio”.

The two snakes were seen writhing in the corner of the outdoor area, jumping up against the wall and slithering around each other.

RFK Jr then swiftly bent down and went straight in, grabbing at the pair as they tried to wriggle away.

Grasping the snakes by their tails, he then held them up for the camera, his wife and Dr Oz to see.

Oz – the Administrator of the US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services – can be heard in the background saying: “They’re having sex“.

Donning suit pants and a tie as he chased the two reptiles down, RFK Jr dodged jabs from the duo as they tried to slither away from his hold.

He then spoke to the camera, saying the snakes were moccasins – more commonly known as cottonmouths.

Cheryl then yelled: “Those are dangerous” and begged him to release the writhing pair.

“You are nuts,” she said.

“Honey, honey let it go. I can’t watch, Bobby please!” she added.

Dr Oz was also heard in the background audio, laughing as Cheryl grew increasingly worried.

RFK Jr appeared to be unmoved by his wife’s concerns and laughed while the snakes continued to try and bite him.

Black racer snakes are not venomous.

It is believed the video was filmed at Dr Oz’s $18 million mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, however it has not been confirmed.

The video has garnered thousands of comments online, with social media punters weighing in on the slippery scene.

One person said: “Bravery is everything. I don’t think many can do that”.

“This just makes me wonder what percentage of men would actually do this with their bare hands,” another said.

A third quipped: “I’m pretty sure that’s not cheerleading …” of Cheryl’s reaction.

This was not RFK Jr’s first wild round with animals.

In a 2015 biography, Jerry Oppenheimer wrote that the now Health and Human Services Secretary had brought a sack of reptiles aboard a flight as a child.

He has since with dangerous and exotic animals.

In 2024, he revealed doctors had found a worm in his brain – likely causing him to suffer from memory loss.

Doctors later determined the remains of the parasite would not be harmful to him anymore – with experts telling the New York Times it was likely a pork tapeworm larva.

He then joked about it on social media, posting: “I offer to eat 5 more brain worms and still beat President Trump and President Biden in a debate”.

Vanity Fair also published an image of him eating what appeared to be a dog on a spit, according to the Guardian, which he later denied.

RFK Jr said there were only three things he would never eat – a person, a monkey or a dog.

Instead, RFK Jr said he was faux biting into a goat – which has the same number of ribs as a dog – 13.

He has also confessed to dumping the remains of a young bear cub in New York City after he found it on the side of the road in 2014.

RFK Jr’s daughter, Kick, told Town & Country that he had once brought home the head of a whale carcass while they were vacationing in Cape Cod, the Kennedys’ longtime go-to summer destination.

He also keeps multiple pet ravens and grew up with pet peacocks, crows, owls and pigeons.
