Then, last month, she made a shock comeback, sporting a new image and with a new boyfriend in tow. Now, for the first time, we can reveal the truth about her convicted criminal boyfriend, what was really behind her shock disappearance after a row in her ‘Welsh 5’ friendship group – and the weight woes that have plagued her all her life.

B&M queen Becki has been on everyone’s lips this week after going official with her brand new boyfriend after weeks of hints and speculation – with fans thrilled to see her happy.
But as fans speculate online as to whether the 32-year-old’s new man Chris Beattie is squeaky clean, The Sun can confirm he is a convicted criminal.
He pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled drug under section 5(2) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 on the 7th September 2021 and was given a 12-month conditional discharge.
Chris first appeared at Chester Magistrates in February 2020 alongside eight other men and three women as part of a targeted operation by the police into organised .
He was charged with conspiracy to import and two counts of possession with intent to supply cannabis.
The charges to import or supply were ultimately dropped.
The group were described as a serious and organised crime operation with the leader of the gang, Raymond Holding, understood to have made £207,607 from his crimes, largely concerning the importation of Cannabis from as well as money laundering.
It is understood that the group targeted vulnerable people in the Ellesmere Port area where Chris and Becki are both from.
A member of Chris’ family, Zoe Beattie, believed to be his sister, faced a conviction after pleading guilty to money laundering and received a 10 month sentence suspended for 18 months.
Becki is thought to be close with Zoe and they have shared numerous exchanges on social media in the past.
It is not known if Becki was aware of her boyfriend’s past prior to dating him.
Insiders have shared how the news that Becki is loved-up with someone who has a criminal past is likely to come as a shock to her followers.
One told The Sun: “Despite everything, Becki has managed to maintain a wholesome and innocent image. The revelation of her partner’s dodgy past is likely to blow that out of the water,” though there’s no doubt her legion of loyal fans will hope he’s a loving and supportive partner to her.
For those of you who aren’t on – Becki, 32, from Ellesmere Port, had been working as a nursery assistant before becoming one of the most recognisable faces in the UK, having built up a legion of 1.3 million followers over the past four years after she started uploading content during lockdown.
Unlike most girls her age who’d bagged themselves a million followers, Becki didn’t prescribe to the typical glamorous look adopted by a lot of her rivals.

Far from showing off mini-dresses, high heels and a face full of slap, Becki became loved for her down-to-earth chat – fans saw her as a normal plus-size Northern girl comfiest in her dressing gown or her pyjama bottoms.
She quickly made friends with the Welsh 5 – a set of influencers who she travelled the world with – Cory, Charlyanne, Ieuan, Kain and Leah – but rumblings of a fallout failed to disperse when a group trip ended with Charlyanne being outcast from the gang.
But as her follower count grew and grew, Becki quickly became the target of horrific trolls commenting on her appearance that almost pushed her to the edge.
As one insider tells The Sun: “Becki could never quite understand how people could be so mean about her and in particular her weight.
“What started off as a bit of fun for her during soon spiralled into something unimaginable and there were days Becki could barely scroll down her comments section without seeing vile and revolting messages about how fat and ugly she was.”
The up-and-coming star chose to publicly ignore the barrage of insults – and began to shun invites to various and lucrative big-money brand deals in fear of it fuelling an already vicious pool of trolls.
In one of her only public appearances, Becki held back tears as she addressed her horrific trolling in a July 2023 appearance on the Not Always A Princess podcast.
She got candid as she revealed the true extent of the hate comments she received and how nearly all of it.
Becki said: “It is challenging at times with the hate and stuff.
“Obviously the trolling has always been about my weight, I’ve always been a bigger girl.”
Things even got so bad for Becki that she revealed she feared ever stepping out of the house in case things were to turn more sinister with one of her haters.
She admitted: “I do say it doesn’t bother me but obviously it does bother me to some extent.
“I fear bumping into one of my trolls in real life.”
Becki also admitted the first moment she realised she had become one of the internet’s most ‘hated’ creators, saying: “I love replying to my comments but there was one time, I just couldn’t find one nice comment.
“I was having to block and delete and it obviously takes a lot of time and I was just thinking, ‘Why am I doing this?’.
“I feel like I’m a private person at home even though I am online a lot so I just won’t tell anyone [about the trolling].”
In March this year, in a video taken in her car, Becki confessed it had all become too much and she had decided to press pause on posting videos and being in the public eye.

Her emotional goodbye video quickly racked up over 17 million views and it wouldn’t be until September that fans got to see a glimpse of the social media star again.
But as she made her hotly-anticipated comeback, The Sun can tell for the first time how Becki’s return to screens was carefully curated.
From the off, her first TikTok upload in six months saw a fresh-faced Becki marching on an autumn walk – a very different different vibe to when she was seen previously chilling in the kitchen or her bedroom.
And it didn’t take fans long to realise that there was something rather different about the Ellesmere Port resident.
Becki’s big comeback carefully coincided with an image overhaul and she showed off her impressive and was met with a flurry of positive comments.
But the truth behind the star’s new look soon became TikTok’s newest hot topic.
As it stands, the top comment on Becki’s comeback video lays things bare as one fan asks: “Did you do babes? Welcome back.”
With another putting it more bluntly as they penned: “How much was the surgery?”
Despite being half the size she was at the start of the year, Becki has yet to revealin a culture increasingly popular with weight-loss jabs such os and Mounjaro.
Hinting there was a story behind her drastic weight loss, Becki recently said during a TikTok Live that she “wasn’t ready” to share how she’d transformed her image but insisted she would explain all soon.

The change in her appearance has left her feeling more confident than ever and as one insider put it to us: “It’s no coincidence that Becki has decided now was the time to undergo a body overhaul.
“Rather than viewing it as her bowing down to the trolls, she’s telling those closest to her that it is her way of proving to them she is strong and confident and can achieve what she wants.”
And it seems Becki is certainly not against the idea of using medication or surgery to achieve her dream weight.
Last year, she opened up in a TikTok video about how she had been offered a gifted which would see her drop the pounds for good.
While accepting the offer, she later appeared to backtrack amid a fear of public ridicule.
One source close to Becki told us: “It seemed like the opportunity of a lifetime for her when she got offered the free gastric sleeve operation.
“Becki’s mistake was getting too excited and announcing the news online too quickly and forgetting just how cruel and wicked the trolls can be as she was immediately met with backlash.
“She thought by telling everyone she would be losing weight, the trolling would stop but instead they slammed the star for cheating her way into a slender figure.”
But The Sun can reveal that alternative options have never been far from Becki’s mind with the influencer telling pals she would opt to be much more careful when it came to making a public announcement if she did indeed pursue those routes.

One insider tells The Sun: “Becki had previously shunned having any management as she was fearful to step out of her comfort zone of posting her own videos amid her trolling hell.
“But as part of her newfound confidence, she’s enlisted a savvy team and has told them to do anything to grow her into a bigger star.
“Becki has finally put her foot down and insisted she won’t be drowned out by the noise – and having had a total body transformation, she is feeling better than she ever has done.”
Known for always being “on the go”, it appears there is no slowing up for a slimmed-down Becki.
