REAL MADRID legend José Emilio Santamaría has died at the age of 96, the club have announced.
Santamaría won seven La Liga titles with Los Blancos between 1957 and 1965.

The former defender also won five titles with Uruguayan side Nacional between 1950 and 1957.
Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, Santamaria played 20 times for the national side of his homeland before he switched allegiances to Spain from 1958.
