Real Madrid defender, Dani Carvajal has expressed sadness over manager Carlo Ancelotti’s imminent departure from the club.
Ancelotti is all set to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season to take over the head coaching job of the Brazil national team.
The Italian will take charge of his last game as Real Madrid manager when they face Real Sociedad on Saturday.
Speaking on the development, Carvajal described Ancelotti as a father to him in football.
The Spaniard also wished the former Chelsea and AC Milan manager gets a the send-off he deserves this weekend.
“I am very sad about Carlo Ancelotti’s departure. He is almost like a Sports Father to me,”;; Carvajal was quoted by Madrid Zone as saying.
“I hope he gets the send-off he deserves on Saturday.”;;
