RAYMOND VAN BARNEVELD left darts fans in hysterics as he revealed his Christmas plans.
The former world champion got himself safely through to the third round of this year’s competition with a 3-1 win over Ryan Meikle.
The Dutchman will now enjoy a week-long Christmas break before facing Gerwyn Price on December 27.
And jaws dropped as the 2007 winner revealed his plans.
Barney said: “I’ve got a week with pills and relax. I’m over the moon, I’m really happy.”
And darts fans were left in hysterics by the comments.
One fan tweeted: “Gwan Barney lad”
Another put: “Sounds like a blinding Christmas to be fair”
Other fans however, were surprised that the PDC tweeted out the clip.
One wrote: “Not a chance this stays up hahaha”
And another posted: “Have a slight feeling that this clip will be deleted within the next 24 hours. Blimey.”
There was no elaboration on what was meant by “pills”, but some users stated that Van Barneveld may not have been referring to any form of tablets or drugs.

And another said: “Pils means beer in Dutch.”
Van Barneveld has amassed a huge cult following, the Barney Army, since his famous final victory over Phil Taylor 15 years ago.
And the 55-year-old recently revealed plans to marry fiancee Julia, 18 years his junior.
