Published on May 29, 2025 at 10:20 AM

Isaac Fayose, the brother of former Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose, has revealed that the 15-year-old girl whom controversial entertainer Speed Darlington recently admitted to having a sexual encounter with, is going to the police to make a formal complaint.

DAILY POST reported that Akpi during a recent Instagram live session confessed to defiled a 15-year-old girl.

Despite the rapper later claiming that his rape admittance was a prank, intended to spark controversy to promote his new song, Nigerians have continued to call for proper investigation into the matter.

Fayose has now come out to say that the victim has been identified and was going to file a formal complaint against Speed Darlington to enable law enforcement agencies to commence investigation.

Speaking in a video message shared via his Instagram page, Fayose said, “Nigeria is the most lawless nation in the world. Even our children the value they are getting now is so low. No law at all...

“How can we operate a lawless nation?The latest saga is Akpi, Speed Darlington coming on a live video to say he slept with an underage, 15-year-old girl. Wow! What a sad moment in our country. He made the confession on Children’s Day. Where is the protection for our children?

“Akpi was thinking it was a joke, but unfortunately for him, we now have a victim coming forward tomorrow to write a statement at the police station with her mother. Akpi, you’re going to be the latest pedophile in Nigeria. You’re going to join the likes of R. Kelly. You have been joking about Diddy’s baby oil scandal, but now you’re a victim of your oil. We got someone coming up tomorrow to write a statement against you. And I believe that the relevant agencies, international communities are watching you, I’m currently in Dubai, people are talking about it. This one, you can’t sweep it under the carpet.”;
