RAFAEL DA SILVA has lifted the lid on one of the wildest dressing room moments at Manchester United — claiming a team-mate once slapped Sir Alex Ferguson in the privates… and somehow got away with it.
The former international recounted a remarkable story involving his fellow countryman and former team-mate, Anderson.

And unbelievably, instead of erupting with anger, Ferguson burst out laughing.
Rafael, who spent seven years at the club, recalled the prank that left players fearing the worst.
He explained Ferguson had a real soft spot for midfielder Anderson during his spell at the club.
But that didn’t stop the cheeky star from pulling off a stunt that stunned everyone around him.
The incident took place inside a packed lift with several players squeezed in together.
Out of nowhere, Anderson suddenly shouted a warning before making his move.
He yelled “sack tap!” and struck Ferguson from below, leaving the lift in total shock.
Players froze instantly, expecting a furious reaction from their legendary boss.

Given Ferguson’s reputation, many thought Anderson had gone too far.
Rafael admitted they feared the worst and thought he might be in serious trouble.
Instead, Ferguson completely flipped expectations with his response.
The United boss saw the funny side and burst out laughing in front of everyone.
It’s a far cry from Fergie’s notorious “hairdryer” treatment – a phrase coined by players for when the gaffer would scream at someone in such close proximity it would dry their hair.
