President Federation Cup: Rangers, Ikorodu City, Kwara United reach semis

Semi-finalists have emerged in the 2025 President Federation Cup, DAILY POST reports.

Five-time champions Rangers, Kwara United, Ikorodu City, and Abakaliki FC all secured their places in the last four on Saturday.

In Abuja, Rangers edged Plateau United 1–0, with midfielder Chiedozie Okorie scoring the winner on the half-hour mark.

The Flying Antelopes will now face Kwara United for a place in the final.

Kwara United mounted a spirited comeback to defeat Akwa United 5–4 on penalties.
Tunde Sanni’s men had trailed 2–0 after 24 minutes but levelled the score before halftime, courtesy of a brace from Wasiu Alalade.

At the Bwari Stadium in Abuja, Shola Adelani netted the decisive goal from the penalty spot in the 55th minute as Ikorodu City eliminated Nigeria National League, NNL side Wikki Tourists with a 1–0 win.

The Oga Boys will now clash with giant killers Abakaliki FC in the semi-finals.

Abakaliki FC overcame Nasarawa United 5–4 on penalties after a tightly contested encounter ended 1–1 in regulation time.
