Kwara United have won the 2025 President Federation Cup men’s title after a 4-3 penalty shootout win against Abakaliki FC in the final.

Tunde Sanni’s side claimed the title for the time in their history.

The two teams battled to 0-0 draw in regulation time.

Abakaliki, who will play in the Nationwide League next season following their relegation from the Nigeria National League, NNL, put up a spirited display in the encounter.

Kwara United had the better chances but were let down by poor finishing.

The Harmony Boys prevailed in the shootout, converting four kicks, while Abakaliki FC netted thrice.
