WALTER MAZZARRI was left so glum he started vaping after two goalkeeper howlers in a pre-season loss.

, 64, took over Greek minnows Iraklis earlier this month and oversaw their first friendly against Bologna on Saturday in Italy.

The Elder went on to lose 2-0 in Bolzano after two errors committed by two different keepers.

The outfit opened the scoring after just seven minutes when Giorgos Athanasiadis committed the first blunder.

Athanasiadis, 33, got such a heavy touch on the ball that he lost it and set up Thijs Dallinga for an easy opener.

The international was replaced by Panagiotis Tsintotas in the second half when Bologna got a penalty that shouldn’t have been given.

Former ace took it on and doubled the Italians’ lead on 58 minutes.

Tsintotas, 33, got to the ball as he lunged to his right and could have held onto it but it still slipped out of his hands.

That’s when the camera panned in on Mazzarri watching from Iraklis’ bench.

The ex- boss looked bewildered – probably from the two errors as well as the referee’s wrong decision to award Bologna with a penalty.

So much so that the ex-boss started smoking his vape while the game continued.

The ex-Sampdoria boss’ assistant Ieroklis Stoltidis was also left completely frustrated.

Mazzarri joined Iraklis after two years without a club as his second stint at Napoli ended in 2024.

The ex-Inter Milan boss spent a year at Watford as he left in 2017 despite securing status after a gruelling relegation scrap.
