CRISTIANO RONALDO’S Portugal were held by minnows DR Congo in a frustrating World Cup opener after Yoane Wissa’s first half equaliser.
Portugal got off to a flyer as PSG star Joao Neves nodded home from Pedro Neto’s cross after just five minutes.

But Congo stunned Roberto Martinez’s side as Newcastle forward Wissa popped up with the equaliser just before the break.
Ronaldo missed a handful of chances to get Portugal back in front as the tournament heavyweights were forced to settle for a point.
