An urgent police investigation is currently in progress following an incident where a teenage girl was reportedly “raped” in a shocking attack.
The young girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by an unidentified man in a park on Saturday, the 18th.


The man approached the girl while she was walking home along Victoria Road in Tunbridge Wells.
They then walked together toward Mount Ephraim Road, at which point the man allegedly led the victim into a park and assaulted her.
The attack occurred in a park near Belgrave Road between 8 PM and 9:45 PM.
The police are now appealing for witnesses to step forward as they continue their investigation.
The suspect has been described as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and in his mid-30s.
He has dark hair styled in a bun, along with a short beard and mustache.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a blue jacket and was traveling by bicycle.
The police are pursuing several inquiries to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
This includes forensic analysis of the scene, CCTV reviews, and house-to-house inquiries.
In a statement, a police spokesperson said: “Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is urged to come forward.
“Motorists with dashcam footage who may have been in the area, as well as businesses and residents with doorbell cameras or CCTV, are also asked to review any relevant footage.”
