A WOMAN who started having plastic surgery at the tender age of 19 has been told it’s made her look older by cruel trolls.

Abi is no stranger to facing criticism for her decision to go under the knife as a teenager, when she had a boob job to take her from a 30AA to a 30D.

While she doesn’t regret any of her procedures, trolls said she looks older than she did pre-surgery (pictured above)

“Honestly, having this surgery was the best thing I’ve ever done because honestly I was so insecure about them,” she said in a video on her TikTok page.

She went to Harley Street in London for the operation , and praised the doctor for advising against her request to go even bigger, as they wouldn’t “fit” her frame.

“He said it wouldn’t suit my body shape and also he did not want to tarnish his reputation,” she continued.

“He only let me go to the size I am now and honestly I could not thank him any more!”

Just one year later, Abi decided to get her lips done, and went to a local clinic to get the filler.

“When I went there I had really thin lips, especially the top lip so whenever I’d smile it would kind of curve in,” she said.

“I only had one sitting of 1ml in my lips and it has been five years, and I have not had them done since.

“I think the reason why I haven’t had them done since is because they have still maintained their shape.

“They still look quite plumpy, especially when I put lip liner on to outline them.”

At 23, Abi went for a non-surgical rhinoplasty, to remove the bump in her nose, adding that it’s essentially just “filler in your nose to make it look straight”.

And the year after that, when she was 24, Abi got Botox for the first time.

She admitted she went for the wrinkle-freezing injections because all her friends were having it, but also because she’d heard about it being a “preventative” measure against wrinkles.

“And if I’m being honest, I just really liked the fact that when I put make-up on, I didn’t have any creases in my forehead,” she grinned.

“It was quite a smooth surface. It has now been eight months since I’ve had any Botox in my forehead.

“It has completely worn off.”

Also in 2024, she had tear trough filler, but didn’t think it “did anything”.

What are the risks of getting surgery abroad?

IT'S important to do your research if you're thinking about having cosmetic surgery abroad.

It can cost less than in the UK, but you need to weigh up potential savings against the potential risks.

Safety standards in different countries may not be as high.

No surgery is risk-free. Complications can happen after surgery in the UK or abroad.

If you have complications after an operation in the UK, the surgeon is responsible for providing follow-up treatment.

Overseas clinics may not provide follow-up treatment, or they may not provide it to the same standard as in the UK.

Also, they may not have a healthcare professional in the UK you can visit if you have any problems.

And earlier this year, Abi went to Turkey to get composite bonding on her teeth.

“I had Invisalign for nine months before,” she said.

“What this was doing was naturally straightening my teeth and closing some gaps.

“But the end result was always going to be with composite bonding.”

Concluding, Abi addressed the trolls, as she said she has undergone procedures that she’ll never have to have again.

“I think it’s just about growing up and learning,” she added.

” I hope this video does not get deemed in a bad way.

“I promise I’m not promoting any cosmetic surgery, just highlighting the things that I’ve had personally done to me, what’s made me feel confident and treatment that I regret and I know that I wouldn’t have moving forward.”

Despite Abi’s heartfelt video, there were still trolls who took to the comments section, with one writing: “You look a lot older than 24!”

“Looks much older,” another agreed.

“Damn looking closer to 30,” a third said.

However, others defended Abi, with one insisting she “looks great”.

“Why is everyone saying she looks older?” another questioned.

“She looks young – accept it.

“Whatever she did turned her from pretty to pretty and happy so get over it!”

“Your body your choice, you look great! Thank you for being so honest!” a third commented.

“Ignore the negativity,” someone else wrote.

“You look good & no need for more in the near future for sure. Thanks for your honesty,”

“You are absolutely stunning,” another commented.

“You paid for it, it was for you and I don’t know why anyone can judge when so many of us would love to change parts of ourselves but either don’t have the £ or the guts lol!”

“Forget the negative comments – you look gorgeous, and it’s amazing that you’re speaking so openly about this,” someone else praised.

“I think it’s also really important to highlight safe places for procedures, since too many young women end up in the wrong hands and leave feeling disappointed.”
