FORMER England boss Peter Taylor is desperate to get his hands on silverware today – just weeks after extending his stunning career in the dugout.
The five-time EFL promotion-winning chief, 73, was appointed as last month.

And Taylor, who has to spearhead England to Euro 2028 glory, is gearing up for the Asean Cup final against hosts Indonesia.
The ex-Leicester and Crystal Palace supremo hopes Thailand will profit from the pressure being on their rivals to deliver on home soil.
told SunSport: “We’re confident but we know it’s going to be a really tough one because we’re playing the hosts.
“Indonesia got to the final and they reckon there is going to be a 77,000 sell-out in Jakarta.
“It will be a wonderful experience for the players, and we’ve got a lot of young players in the squad.
“It’s going to be a terrific atmosphere for them and hopefully all the pressure is on .
“It would be lovely to lift silverware before boarding my flight back home. Thailand haven’t won a competition for a while.”
Thailand, who are bossed by former youngster Anthony Hudson, overcame two Premier League icons to keep their title dreams alive.

They notched a 4-0 thrashing over a Pakistan side and boasting Titus Bramble on their coaching staff.
Vietnam were also beaten and, despite losing to the Philippines with a much-changed starting line-up, Thailand topped their group.
Taylor, who had one showdown in caretaker charge of England in 2000, added: “The tournament has gone alright for us. We’ve played against Pakistan and a very strong Vietnam team.
“Pakistan have as their manager, with Titus Bramble as his assistant, so they’re pretty well organised.
“We managed to beat both of them to automatically get through to the final.
“Although we lost to the Philippines in our final group game, we only used a few players who will be involved in the final.

“It’s been a good competition with lots of good being played, so I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being back in coaching.
“I’ve been watching games from above, in the stands, and helped out with preparation before games.”
