FERNE McCann has sparked debate after sharing the makeup birthday haul she purchased for her daughter Sunday's 8th birthday.
The former TOWIE star, 35, revealed that this was her “first ever experience of,” admitting that even she found it “absolutely crazy” and felt her daughter Sunday was “too young” to be obsessed with makeup.

However, the mother of two explained that it’s simply what her daughter and her friends enjoy, adding that Sunday is constantly borrowing her beauty blender.
In a video posted on TikTok , the reality star showcased everything she had bought for Sunday, who was celebrating her eighth birthday.
She started by mentioning that it’s a “really tricky age,” as Sunday is at that in-between stage of growing out of things.
The proud mom also expressed her desire not to spend a fortune on makeup since it’s all about imaginative play, before revealing her first purchase.
Holding up a Lilo and Stitch pampering set to the camera, which includes fluffy slippers, foot lotion, and nail varnishes, she said: “But how adorable is this set? We’re actually going to Disneyland for her birthday, which I’m so excited about.
“That’s like her main gift, but I just wanted to get her a few extra goodies.
“So, look, sticking with the theme – and she’s obsessed with Lilo and Stitch... I thought this was such a lovely little set.”
Continuing with the Lilo and Stitch theme, she mentioned that she also bought some lip glosses.
“As I mentioned, she has friends over and they get all the makeup items out now – it’s just wild,” she continued.
“Absolutely wild. I feel like it’s too young.”
Ferne also picked up a candy swirl body spray, a personalized makeup bag, and a giant marshmallow kisses scented lip balm priced at just £1.99, which she claims “smells amazing.”

Ferne continued: “I mean, look at this makeup. How adorable is this? I bought bundles that I know she’s going to be thrilled to see.”
Revealing that she purchased a beauty blender, she said: “She really enjoys applying makeup at the moment.
She’s always taking my beauty blenders. It’s so random. I’m like, what are you even blending? You’re seven — well, eight in a week.”
Ferne also bought a lip duo kit that includes a lipstick and a lip liner, a manicure set with various colored nail varnishes, mascara that Sunday is “obsessed” with, face glow drops, liquid blush, and a face mist.
“Again, I understand she’s in year 3,” Ferne explained. “She’s not going to be going for a full glam look.”
Finally, Ferne, who mentioned she plans to divide the haul between Sunday’s birthday and the close celebrations, also bought her a makeup brush set, a hairband, more lip glosses, and eyeshadow.
The post quickly received over 530k views and numerous comments, with most agreeing that eight years old is far too young to be wearing makeup.
