A PENSIONER has admitted killing his neighbour’s fish by pouring detergent into the pond amid a noise row, a court heard.
Gerry Duffy was accused of killing three of his next-door neighbour’s carp fish.

The 76-year-old from Barnet, North London, was embroiled in a noise row with neighbour Andrea Ptohides at the time, a court heard.
He had gone to her home complaining about the noise caused by the pond in her garden.
In the first of three incidents, he was accused of throwing motor from his window into the garden pond on March 20.
Four days later, water pipes supplying the pond were cut.
The court heard Mr Ptohides reviewed CCTV footage and saw Duffy climbing over their fence that day.
On March 26, three of the carp fish were found dead after detergent was allegedly poured into the water.
Mr Ptohides claimed CCTV showed Duffy again climbing the fence in the early hours of the morning.
Prosecutors said Duffy had told his neighbour the noise from the pond was causing him to lose .
He previously “threatened to take matters into his own hands” if he didn’t do anything about it, the court heard.
He appeared in Willesden Magistrates’ Court accused of destroying a pond and fish.
The pensioner is also charged with destroying water pipes and a water pump, and throwing detergent into the pond.
