Pedestrian dies after being hit by motor after they walked along major road carriageway as cops launch probe

A MAN has tragically died after being struck by a vehicle on an A-road on Friday evening.

Essex police said it received reports of a pedestrian in the carriageway on the A133 at Great Bentley, near Colchester, Essex shortly after 8pm.

A man has died after he was hit by a vehicle

The man sustained serious injuries before being found by cops.

Essex police said: “He was taken to hospital but, sadly, died this morning [April 5]”
