MANCHESTER UNITED legend Paul Scholes lambasted manager Ruben Amorim’s treatment of Kobbie Mainoo.

After the game, , 40, was asked about the England international’s omission and he insists he sees him as much of a starter as everyone else in his squad.

Amorim said: “I see him as a starter like the other players.

“I just have to make a choice and then in the end, it’s not been Kobbie.

However, Scholes, 51, would have none of Amorim’s explanations and didn’t hold back when reacting to the boss’ statement.

The England great insists the youngster is being “ruined” at Old Trafford and wouldn’t blame him if he left.
