“I remember when Tiger Woods emerged, and to me, Luke is like the Tiger Woods of darts. He is an exceptionally talented darts player.
“What makes me say that? It's his natural talent. He is truly gifted. He’s remarkable. That’s all.
“He isn’t someone who learns darts mechanically; he has an innate ability, flawless execution.
“Everything comes so effortlessly to him. That’s what he desires, and he does it exceptionally well.”
Lim, who will face Swedish player Jeffrey de Graaf on Saturday night at Ally Pally, made these comments during the launch of his Generation 9 Target Darts.
He will be utilizing this equipment during his 28th appearance at a PDC (15), BDO (12), and WDF (1) event since 1982.
